Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of OurPost, provided by BitFlap. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service

OurPost provides local document capture, import, editing, OCR, organization, viewing, and optional private family-group synchronization and sharing. Core local features can be used without an account. Cloud capacity and group features may depend on the selected plan.

2. Accounts

Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In may be used for cloud and group features. You are responsible for your sign-in account. Account deletion is available at Settings > BitFlap account > Delete account.

3. Subscriptions

OurPost offers monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions through the applicable app store. The price and billing period displayed at purchase apply. Payment is charged after confirmation and renews automatically unless canceled under the store's rules. You can manage or cancel the subscription in store settings. Refunds follow the store's policy. Restore Purchases is available in the App.

4. Your content and conduct

You retain rights to your content and grant us only the permission needed to store, process, synchronize, display, and deliver it to you and the private group members you select. You must not store or share unlawful, harmful, infringing, or malicious content, and you are responsible for obtaining permission before adding or sharing another person's information.

5. Data and availability

Local data can be lost if a device is lost, damaged, reset, or the App is uninstalled. Cloud synchronization supports continuity and sharing but is not a guarantee of permanent backup or uninterrupted availability. Keep separate copies of important documents.

6. Intellectual property and limitations

The App, software, design, and trademarks remain the property of BitFlap or its licensors. The App is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee error-free operation, OCR accuracy, synchronization, or notifications. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Changes, termination, and law

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary and may restrict use that violates these Terms. These Terms are governed by Japanese law, and the Tokyo District Court has exclusive first-instance jurisdiction unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
