3. Data Storage and Sync
3.1 Local Storage
The App is designed to store data on your device first, so core features can work without an internet connection.
3.2 Cloud Storage
When you sign in and use sync, backup, or group sharing features, relevant inventory, shopping list, group, account, and setting data may be transmitted to and stored on our servers via encrypted communication (HTTPS). When you are not signed in and do not use cloud features, your inventory and shopping list data remains on your device.
4. Group Sharing
When you create or join a group, inventory and shopping list data associated with that group may be visible to other group members. Please only join groups and enter shared data when you are comfortable sharing it with those members.
5. Third-Party Services
We do not share your data with third parties except in the following cases:
- Authentication services: Google and Apple authentication platforms during account sign-in
- Payment services: Apple App Store and Google Play billing platforms for subscription purchases
- Analytics and crash reporting: Technical and anonymous usage information used to improve app quality, when enabled
- Legal requirements: When required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety
We do not sell your food inventory, shopping list, or group data to third parties.
6. Notifications
The App uses notifications for expiration alerts, reminders, and other features you enable. Notification timing and content are based on your data and settings.
7. Data Deletion
You can delete your data in the following ways:
- Delete individual data: Delete food items, shopping items, and groups from within the App
- Full data reset: Use reset features in Settings to delete local app data

8. Security
We implement measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted communication via HTTPS (TLS)
- Authentication tokens and access controls for account and sync features
- Limited access to server-side data based on account and group permissions
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
